No internet for 9 days now and we scehdule techs to come out and they cancel without a call all three times cause they were in the area with a larger problem. They are my largest problem and the ONLY service that I have on speed dial. I hate MediaCom.... Just got off the phone with Mediacom and its been 20 days since I paid for my high-speed internet service and they still haven't hooked up my interent yet. I have seen the Mediacom van parked in my apt's parking lot 5 times since the start and they still won't hooked it up till 5 days from now because "that is the earliest time we can do it you see we work on a first come first serve" Yeah I hear ya. I have had over 10 visits from Mediacom (NO JOKE) in the last 12 months, one time they even tried to blame me for the issue. The tech guys were very rude and a couple times when I called in the phone reps hung up on me. I really want the city to allow competition in the area, it only makes sense and it will really help the community. I wish Mediacom was a little bit more respectful and did not have the “we are the only provider” attitude.
