Wedding and Honeymoon

Emily and I were married on January 10th of this year!! The wedding day was a complete whirlwind, but I do remember how beautiful my bride was as I saw her for the first time in her gown. I couldn’t believe I was actually going to marry the girl who was walking towards me!! The wedding and reception went very well, and we left immediately for our honeymoon in Vancouver, Canada. We stayed in a high rise hotel/condo with wall to ceiling windows and a magnificent view of the Vancouver skyline. Halfway through the week we drove up to Whistler to do some shopping and sightseeing. I immediately wanted to strap on my skis and hit the slopes, but we decided to take it easy and save the skiing until the next trip (which I hope comes soon). We took quite a few pictures of the trip, but we haven’t had much time since we got back to upload them. Hopefully I will be able to get some up soon. The honeymoon was great, but Emily and I are happy to be back in Carbondale with our friends and family. Thanks to everyone who made our wedding day so special, from my groomsmen who flew up from Florida, to our local friends who bent over backwards to decorate, DJ, video, and watch our house while we were gone.
