About Me

I am a commercial and documentary photographer living in Central Florida. I graduated from Florida A & M University with a Bachelor of Science in photography in 2005, and from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a Master of Fine Arts in 2010.

During college, the majority of my work was documentary in style.  I completed various projects including an extensive documentary of the Eastpointe, Florida oyster industry. My M.F.A. thesis project was a social documentary on the Gompers Homes of East St. Louis, Illinois.  The photography for the project lasted approximately a year and a half.  Details on the project and exhibition can be found within this blog by clicking on the personal projects category, as well as on my accompanying portfolio site.

My documentary work has been exhibited throughout the country as part of juried group shows and solo exhibitions. My commercial work stems from my fine art background.
